Melissa has extensive experience in environmental data and regulatory policy analysis, technical report writing and research. She manages and authors Five-Year Reviews of remedies at Superfund sites and prepares case studies examining the local benefits of Superfund redevelopment. Melissa provides support for EPA’s Superfund Redevelopment Initiative and the Superfund program, including the research and analysis of economic data for Superfund sites that support businesses. She also provides GIS mapping services for Five-Year Reviews and reuse projects.
Prior to joining Skeo, Melissa worked as an environmental inspector for the Kentucky Department for Environmental Protection. She has regulatory experience across a variety of fields, including hazardous waste, underground storage tanks and solid waste. Her professional experience also includes laboratory quality control and management.
