Kate Bird

Senior Associate
BIO

Kate leads collaborative project teams in designing, developing and implementing innovative data management strategies, analytical approaches, and interactive tools to address government, community and environmental challenges. She supports Skeo’s long-term GIS and information management strategic plan, including GIS data management, development and management of Skeo’s enterprise environment, software acquisition, resource management, staffing, and training, and ensures consistency and compliance with applicable guidance. Kate’s background in environmental planning and experience with EPA’s Superfund, Resource Conservation and Recovery Act and Underground Storage Tanks programs have equipped her to anticipate client needs and make connections between communities, the challenges they face, and the technological tools that can support successful outcomes. Kate develops interactive and informative mapping solutions that meet client needs in Esri’s ArcGIS Online Custom Applications. She also supports general application and web development, data management and reporting with Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI) and Drupal.
