Alison Frost serves as Director of Skeo’s GIS, Data Management and Effective Communications Branch, where she leads technical experts and project managers in delivering innovative solutions. Under her leadership, the branch has become known for integrating cutting-edge GIS technology, beautiful graphic design and strategic communication to make complex environmental information accessible.
With over 17 years at Skeo, Alison has built her career on a foundation of strong client relationships and technical excellence. She founded Skeo’s ArcGIS Online program, established the company’s Graphic Design Team, and specialized in providing technical assistance, outreach and engagement to Tribal and rural communities across the country. Under her leadership as Community Engagement Subcontract Program Manager, Alison developed infrastructure that enabled Skeo to reach over 80,000 households across 17 states.
Alison has been instrumental in building Skeo’s capacity to deliver visually compelling, data-driven solutions. She continues to explore emerging technologies and communication strategies that enhance how environmental information is delivered and understood.
Minnesota native, Wyoming transplant. Alison has been with the Skeo team since 2009. Her previous career leading mountaineering expeditions taught her to navigate complex logistics and technical travel in remote environments. When not working, she enjoys outdoor adventures with her family.
