Alisa Wilson

Environmental Planning and Facilitation Expert
BIO

Alisa brings more than 20 years of experience collaborating with communities impacted by natural disasters and environmental hazards to develop community-based strategies for the future. She has served as the lead facilitator, designer and project manager on more than 150 community-based planning projects nationwide. She has extensive experience developing and leading effective engagement processes that lift community voices and engage government representatives and practitioners in community master planning, resiliency and recovery, and watershed restoration. Her skills include green infrastructure and watershed planning, recreational and park planning, site analysis, community revitalization, concept plan design, GIS analysis and mapping, stakeholder involvement and strategic planning. Alisa develops tools for all levels of government and practitioners to facilitate discussions with multi-stakeholder groups and communities to inform community revitalization and conservation processes. She thoughtfully designs public engagement to create collaborative spaces for discussion and idea generation and leads stakeholders in identifying priorities and strategies to support implementation.
