Catherine’s interest in designing landscapes that strengthen communities’ social, ecological and economic resilience led her to join Skeo in 2009. She provides design services to support a range of areas including Superfund and Brownfields redevelopment, technical assistance for communities, resilience and recovery planning, and stormwater management.
Her project work focuses heavily on addressing the impacts of climate change and industrial development, urban sprawl, and aging water systems in underserved communities. Catherine works closely with community members to co-create solutions that improve quality of life, enhance water quality, and advance environmental justice. Her portfolio spans regional planning, urban design, post-disaster recovery, green infrastructure, and recreation- and conservation-focused revitalization projects nationwide.
