Green Infrastructure for Coastal Resilience

Skeo staff member Alisa Hefner presented at the day-long “Introducing Green Infrastructure for Coastal Resilience” workshop presented by NOAA Coastal Service Center in February 2012. The workshop was hosted by the Chesapeake Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve in Virginia at the Virginia Institute of Marine Science in Gloucester Point. As part of the workshop, participants became familiar with green infrastructure concepts and the role of natural assets in community resilience. Ms. Hefner presented examples of Skeo’s green infrastructure projects completed in partnership with the Green Infrastructure Center.
